It is Santa-Cali-Gon time and I love it.  I went Friday night and had a corn dog and a chuck wagon ice cream cookie.  I have every intention of eating more today, such as an indian taco, apple fritters and some other yummy stuff.  Really, I just go for the food.  I'm also making up for last year when I had pneumonia.  I'm off to eat!

Hola!  How is everybody doing?  Not much is going on here.  I'm going to let you all know that I've been able to take a nap almost everyday over my two weeks of vacation.  I'm going to cut myself off next week though.  If I don't I'll never be able to go back to work. 

Weren't Sarah's pictures awesome?  It is so cool to see her vacation across Europe. 

Have fun at "Worlds of Fun", I'm going to have to skip because we're celebrating Gilly's birthday.  Happy day to you Scottles, I hope you guys have tons of fun!

Hey there friends.  How is everyone?  I'm doing great!  Today is my first day of summer vacation.  I have the next 3 weeks off.  I got to hang-out with Mom last night, we had tomato pie and all sorts of things.  I get to hang-out with Heather later...so that promises to be fun.  I think I'll be able to take a nap later.  Right now Nick has me watching a movie called "Maniac Cop"...not my idea of a great movie, but what am I to do?  Talk to you later.

Hey all, just wanted to let you know that my aunt passed away this morning.  She died at 8:00 this morning.  I'm very thankful that we were at Hospice House.  The caregivers are very supportive.  Have a good day.

Now for an update.  My Aunt Heather was diagnosed with cancer last Friday, July 7.  They don't know where it originated, but it has spread to her liver and to all of her bones.  She had been at Truman West for the week, where she (and we, Mom, Aunt Hayley and myself) endured the heat (the A/C was not working) and lack of care from some of the hospital staff.  She had decided to start radiation and went for radiation mapping on Thursday, but then yesterday morning, she decided that she wasn't going to do it.  She has now been transferred to Kansas City Hospice House in South KC and seems to be resting more comfortably.  Sure, the temp in the room is about 50 degrees, but who am I to complain?  Anywhoo...that's where we stand right now and I'll be back with more later.
